Pular 6233m

A high peak in Chile just north of the volcano Llullaillaco. There are reported to be extensive ruins form the time of the Incas near the summit. Although visible form the tourist town of San Pedro de Atacama, Pular is a remote peak and is rarely climbed

Pular from the north.

We have run trips to Pular and nearby Socompa in the past and can easily do so again. For details of how to climb Pular, Socompa, Llullaillaco and the neighbouring Chilean Puna, please see our guidebooks, which are available in English, Spanish, Polish and French editions, direct from us or from all good bookshops and mountaineering shops.
