Nacimiento is a fairly remote peak in the Puna de Atacama which lies entirely in Argentina just south of Ojos del Salado. The height of 6436m often used in the past is a mi-quote from a spot height on a sub-summit. The highest peak, according to SRTM data, is more like 6460m high
