Ameghino c.5940m

Ameghino is a peak dwarfed by its near neighbour Aconcagua. However its a pretty good summit with great views of the Polish Glacier route on Aconcagua. We've climbed this peak as part of our Aconcagua expeditions before, for details see our Aconcagua expedition page.

Ameghino from the Relinchos river

Ameghino (on the right) from the east, dwarfed by the much higher summit of Aconcagua. Crossing the Relinchos river on the way to Aconcagua.

We have climbed Ameghino on previous expeditions to Aconcagua, which we run every year. For details of these expeditions please see our Aconcagua expedition page.
