Jonorana 5516m

Pumanota 5474m

These two peaks lie in a remote area of southeastern Peru, kind of loosely attached to the Cordillera Vilcanota. In two separate expeditions in 2025 and 2026 we beleive we made the first ascent of these glaciated peaks. There was certainly no evidence of previous ascents on the obvious routes, nor on a couple of nearby rocky hilltops.
