Juncal 5953m

Juncal is in the central Andes of Chile, lying very close to the border with Argentina. it is often quoted as being over 6000m high, but would appear from the 1:50,000 Chilean survey to be just under 6000m. The normal ascent route for climbing Juncal is from near the ski resort of Portillo to the north.
